‘The North will not support Tinubu’s second term, there will be gangs – Primate Ayodele

The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Sunday warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be strategic in his approach towards the northern part of the country as they will not support his second term ambition.

Primate Ayodele claimed that there would be a series of conspiracies against President Tinubu in the North and that some people close to him would betray him.

In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele said leaders in the area would conspire and all of Tinubu’s efforts would be seen as nothing.

”Tinubu will still have many problems between now and 2027 because the northerners will unite against him. Some closest to Tinubu will betray him.

“Despite everything he will do, there will be an aggressive conspiracy by some of the northern leaders against him. He will do the best he can, but he will not look like anything,” he stated.

The prophet revealed that the president and his vice president, Kashim Shettima, will have a lukewarm relationship due to the problems that will arise from the north.

He warned of a serious political setback and tension towards the second term of the current administration.

”Shettima and Tinubu will have a lukewarm relationship due to the problems that will arise from the north.

“The northerners will work against Shettima and his rivals will rise against him.

“The president has to be tactical with the northerners; Otherwise, he will face many setbacks and political tensions heading into his second term,” he further stated.

Continuing, Primate Ayodele stated that the north will not see any significant development because there will still be insecurity until 2030, poor infrastructure and education in the area.

”I don’t see the end of insecurity in the north until around 2030 because it is within them that there will be poor management of development.

“Tinubu should watch his back; The northerners will become his enemies and let us also be careful not to experience a Yoruba, Fulani-Kanuri crisis in the country.

”There is no plan for the development of the north in this government because the northerners have worked against it.

“The north will continue to face insecurity, poor infrastructure and education and will be divided,” he added.
