Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey believes his team did everything they could to beat Chelsea in every situation when the two met in the London derby.

He said this in a post-match interview after Arsenal recorded a huge 5-0 win over Chelsea in the English Premier League to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

Partey played 72 minutes in the match as a starter for the fifth time this season and starred in the game delivering nine passes into the final third and recording three interceptions (a team high) before being replaced by Jorginho.

Arsenal have a four-point lead over third-placed and defending league champions Manchester City, although Manchester City have played two fewer games.

Second-placed Liverpool are three points behind Arsenal ahead of their Merseyside Derby clash against Everton on April 24.
