Scoot, the budget airline arm of Singapore Airlines, cited spare parts shortages for the recent cancellation of dozens of flights.

Scoot said several flights this month were cancelled “due to a variety of operational reasons, including unavailability of aircraft due to shortages of spare parts due to supply chain issues,” the Strait Times reported. Scoot did not give further details about the spare parts or the types of aircraft affected, the newspaper said.

From May 2 to 6, 33 Scoot flights scheduled to depart or land at Changi Airport were cancelled, Strait times reported on Wednesday.

Singapore Airlines is scheduled to report its results on May 15.
