Actress Shan George recovers N3.6 million stolen from her account

Veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George, has recovered N3.6 million that was stolen from her Zenith Bank account on May 3.

The actress revealed this in an Instagram live video on Thursday.

She also thanked Zenith Bank, Opay, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nigerians and all those who helped her financially in her quest to get her money back.

“I want to thank Zenith Bank for their quick action. I want to thank Opay for being so transparent. I also want to thank Safe Haven Bank, EFCC and the Nigerian Police,” he said.

The actress promised to share more updates on how the incident occurred and how she got her money back.

PUNCH earlier reported that the actress turned to her Instagram account to seek help after a person identified as Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro emptied her of N3.6 million from her Zenith Bank account.

The actress shared a screenshot of the debit alert and wrote: “I need help because I am dying. This person just deleted my account.

“Please my people, everyone please help. Please Zenith Bank invest it. I can’t access my application. I’m De@D.”

George asked for help and said: “Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro, is the name of the person who just deleted all the money in my account, 3.6 million, in an Opay account.

“I beg everyone to please Zenith bank, Opay and Abeg help me. I take God I pray.

“I don’t have any kobo anywhere anymore. What will I eat? “I can’t beg, I beg you, make you help me.”
