Kogi Governor Ododo calls meeting Ribadu achievement of first 100 days

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has included a meeting with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu among the achievements of his first 100 days in office in Kogi.

Another “achievement” is a trip to his hometown.

On Thursday, his official handle X shared infographics adorned with his photo listing his accomplishments from his first 100 days in office.

“We will continue to do more for the good people of Kogi State. God bless Kogi State. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Ododo wrote, sharing lists of his achievements in all sectors of the state.

The Kogi Governor mentioned “meeting with the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu” as his seventh achievement while “Announcement of the FIRST SET OF APPOINTMENTS on the first day of his tenure was his first achievement in office.”

The list also included a visit to his village, Okene, a “courtesy visit of the Ife-Olukotun community in Yagba East Local Government Area”, participation in the Progressive Governors Forum Meeting in Abuja and a “meeting joint meeting of Kogi governors.” , Ondo, Taraba with the Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari.”

The Kogi governor also mentioned as achievements the “distribution of 105 operational vehicles and 42 motorcycles to policing services for community policing.”

Ododo, 42, auditor general of local governments during the administration of former governor Yahaya Bello, succeeded his director after winning the Kogi governorship election in November 2023.

As Ododo marks his first 100 days in office, his closest rival in the election, Murtala Ajaka, is challenging his victory before the electoral tribunal.
