TikTok bans Nigeria after controversial 24-hour coffin stunt

Short video platform, TikTok, has permanently banned the account of Young C, a Nigerian who embarked on the 24-hour challenge of being buried alive.

Checks carried out by our reporter on the platform showed that his profile was no longer available.

Young C caused a stir on the internet on Wednesday when he embarked on the challenge of being buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.

Young C’s stunt resembles a similar challenge undertaken by American YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), who spent 50 hours buried alive two years ago to raise awareness about deforestation.

MrBeast recently attempted to beat his own record by spending seven consecutive days buried in a coffin, overcoming physical and mental challenges before being exhumed.
