Jamie Carragher slams Antony and Mason Mount over Erik ten Hag theory after Man United Horrow show

Jamie Carragher criticized Antony and Mason Mount for publicly discussing Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace when they left the pitch at full-time.

The duo were involved in a lively discussion alongside goalkeeper Andre Onana after goals from Michael Olise (2), Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell condemned the Reds to their heaviest Premier League defeat of the season and significantly reduced their hopes of securing European football.

However, after the match, when Antony and Mount, both substituted in the second half, were caught consulting about the 90 minutes of action at Selhurst Park, Carragher criticized the pair.

“Get off the pitch! Talking and whispering behind your hand, you’ve been absolutely horrible,” the former Liverpool defender said. “They’re probably talking about one of the players, someone else, the organization or the coach.

“Just get off the field. Shut up and go in, you’ve been beaten 4-0. Whispering and talking about other players. Honestly… it’s embarrassing.”

Defeat at Selhurst Park leaves United eighth in the table, behind Chelsea and Newcastle United, ahead of this weekend’s crunch clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
