Comedian Ali Baba and his wife dedicate their triplets in Lagos (PHOTOS)

On Sunday, comedian Atunyota ‘Ali Baba’ Akpobome and his wife Mary shared a touching moment while dedicating their triplets, Alexandra, Andrew and Aaron, in Lagos.

They dedicated their children to RCCG Central Parish of Christ the Lord in Lakes.

A reception followed at Jewel by Aeida on Hakeem Dickson Street in Lekki Phase 1.

Celebrities who witnessed the event included comedian AY Makun, Seyi Law, MC Lively, Chigul, Bunmi Davis, Ajebo comedian Adebola Williams and other notable personalities from the entertainment industry.

The couple welcomed triplets in February.

On April 1, Ali Baba announced on his Instagram page that his wife and founder of the Purple Girl Foundation, a non-governmental organization created to improve female education, welcomed triplets.

He wrote: “Mary and I are happy and delighted to welcome our three sons, Aaron, Alexander and Andrew, to the Akpobome family. Two months have passed since they arrived and as the days go by we thank Almighty God for these three beautiful blessings.

Due to the importance of the date of the announcement, April Fool’s Day, many thought it was a joke.

Ali Baba, 58, married Mary, 55, chief operating officer of Imperium Capital Partners, in 2006.

The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) student and his wife have five children, three girls and two boys, before the arrival of the triplets.

In 2018, the couple thrown out the Purple Girls Foundation to support girls’ education in Lagos.
