Hot on the heels of unveiling the Ferrari 12Cilindri, the Italian automaker has wasted no time in launching the online configurator for the new V12-powered beast in both Coupé and spider shapes. They claim it is the sexiest 12Cilindri they have ever designed.

As far as configurators go, this one is pretty basic and the graphics aren’t the best, especially for such an exotic model. However, there’s still plenty of room for customization, including plenty of colors to choose from.

As expected, a palette of reds dominates, along with vibrant yellow and a selection of elegant greys, blacks and silvers. We opted for Blu Corsa, whose brightness highlights the car’s curves and complements the unchanging black stripe between the headlights.

With the color selected, five different wheels are offered. We’ve opted for the standard black and silver spoked wheels complemented by titanium bolts and carbon center caps. We’ve also selected a set of gold brake calipers, although the yellow and red options also pair well with the blue paint.

Ferrari customers who love carbon fiber will be pleased to know that there is a huge amount available in the 12Cilindri. This includes a carbon front splitter, side skirts, rear-view mirrors, rear diffuser and engine cover.

The interior of the new car has 15 leather finishes available. Our car has Cream 3997 leather seats. It is also possible to modify the color of the upper and lower area of ​​the cabin.

Regardless of configuration, the 12Cilindri has all the right ingredients to be the best front-engine grand tourer the automaker has ever built. In a world increasingly concerned about emissions and fuel economy, Ferrari kept its iconic naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and modified it to generate 819 horsepower and 500 pound-feet (678 Nm) of torque.
