Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur, player ratings: Can we play against you every week?

1. TREVOH BOARBOARD (8.2)

Pochettino called it the game that has made him happiest so far as Chelsea manager, and it seems to have made most voters pretty happy too. In fact, it’s our second highest scoring game overall, only the 6-0 against Everton scored higher. Curiously, two of the four highest-rated games this season have been against the Spurs. Can we play with you every week?

And it’s quite fitting that Man of the Match goes to a Cobham graduate.

Chalobah has put in some excellent performances since joining the team a few weeks ago and also picked an excellent moment to score his first goal of the season.

2. MARC CUCURELLA (8.1)

This is Cucurella’s highest rating ever (and first 8+) in the nearly two seasons he’s been here.

3. MOISES CAICEDO (7.9)

Caicedo has been getting better and better as the season has progressed, and that should bode well for the future.
