Daniel Levy makes a decision, agreements are agreed: Tottenham received clear instructions from Ange Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur’s season is winding down at a rapid pace after Thursday’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea.

The Lilywhites have made a dream start to the Premier League this season, winning eight and drawing two of their first ten games, although Spurs’ recent form has seen their Champions League hopes fade.

Last night’s defeat at Stamford Bridge has left Tottenham seven points behind Aston Villa, with a game in hand, and leaves Postecoglou’s team with everything to do if they want to participate in next year’s Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night ensured fifth-placed England will not receive an extra Champions League place, in another blow for the Lilywhites.

Many feared that the current campaign would be much worse than it has been, especially after the departure of Harry Kane, with Postecoglou faced with the difficult task of replacing Spurs’ top scorer.

Some are less convinced of the Australian and remain unsure of his long-term prospects in the capital. Considering this issue, football.london have shared their opinions below.
