Key striker returns for clash with Tigers

Fremantle have confirmed their final 23 to face Richmond at the MCG

Key forward Jye Amiss and key defender Joshua Draper have been confirmed among the Club’s final 23 players who will face Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.

Amiss passed his final concussion protocol test today following his concussion in round six of the RAC Derby, and the 20-year-old was named full forward for Sunday.

Amiss replaces Pat Voss, who has been appointed on an emergency basis following his impressive debut last week.

Josh Treacy, Luke Jackson and Amiss will line up together in the Club’s forward line for the second time this season after Amiss was substituted early in the RAC Derby with a concussion.

Six-game player Joshua Draper has also been confirmed in the squad following hamstring tightness which saw the 20-year-old removed from the Bulldogs game early last week.

Draper has been named in the backline alongside Alex Pearce and James Aish.

Freo’s five-man swap includes Tom Emmett, Matthew Johnson, Bailey Banfield, Brandon Walker and Cooper Simpson, with one of the five to be named as a substitute an hour before the rebound.

Sunday’s clash will begin at 11am WST (2pm EST) and will be broadcast live nationally on Fox Footy and live on Kayo.

Transmission delay

There will be a delayed broadcast on free-to-air television in Perth starting at 2pm (WST) on Channel 7.

Fremantle fans who wish to watch the game live and do not have a pay TV subscription can visit one of Pirate Life’s ‘Anchor Venues’ in Perth to meet other Fremantle fans and support the team.
