It is insensitive to threaten Fubara – APC Chief

A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has said it is rebellious and insensitive for anyone to threaten Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.

This is what he warned the President General of the Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI), Bright Amaewhule and others, against abusing the exalted office of Governor of the state and paying some respects to the office holder.

Eze, in a statement issued yesterday in Port Harcourt, said Amaewhule’s outburst qualifies him to receive an invitation from relevant security agencies for questioning and called on the police to quickly intervene to deter other crime peddlers.

The APC leader said it is better than imagination that miscreants and subordinates operating under the guise of politics have the guts to threaten a sitting governor in a public forum without resorting to the legal implications of their careless misadventure and its effects. in their rights. as citizens in an attempt simply to impress an overzealous political boss.

He praised Fubara for his peaceful character but warned those who mistake his behavior for cowardice and depend on him to foment trouble to retrace their steps as the governor reserves a lot of power to decisively address their insubordination.

Eze stated that both the Inspector General of Police and other security agencies were fully aware of this threat and should not remain silent until some forces of darkness turn the State into a theater of war.

He said: “People should not misunderstand Governor Fubara on the role he has chosen on how to govern the State because God, in his love towards Rivers State and its people, decided to adopt Fubara as a tool to rescue the State from the hands of those who have kept the State in perpetual darkness for the last eight years or so.

“You can imagine the difference between the current IGR of N27 billion and what could be obtained in the last eight years. “That is pure evil.”
