Don Julio lights up the tequila on Tuesday 7th anniversary at Cask Lounge

For years, Tequila Tuesdays at Cask Lounge have been a beacon of joy for Kampala’s weekday partiers, offering not only a weeknight getaway, but also a tequila-infused extravaganza!

Last night was extra special as event hosts: Muchachos joined forces with Uganda Breweries Ltd (UBL) to strongly commemorate seven years of Tequila Tuesdays on the Kampala party circuit; thanks to the recently launched Tequila Don Julio.

From shots to cocktails, lime to salt, the party was a tequila lovers dream come true. Whether one wanted Blanco or Anejo, Cask had everyone covered.

The atmosphere at Cask Lounge on Tuesday night would make anyone think the weekend had come early, as the lounge became a tequila paradise, with fiery DJ mixes lighting up the dance floor.

Whether one was enjoying the powerful Amapiano and RnB beats of DJ Dash, or soaking in the vibrant Ugandan vibes, courtesy of Fem DJ, there was a perfect sound for everyone to shake their body.

A special thanks to the host girls: Etania, the life of the party and Viana Indi, who brought the heat!

But the real show of the night was none other than Vinka; The Bailando singer kept the crowd on their feet with electrifying performances of her hits, including the irresistible Everything about youthat caused the crowd to sing hoarsely and perform matching dance moves.

“This has been a movie! As the Don Julio team, we are happy to have increased the excitement by introducing our new tequilla variants – Blanco and Añejo, to Ugandan tequilla lovers. It has been incredible to see these fun-loving people enjoying the new premium experience,” said Simon Lapyem, Innovation Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited.

The surprise of the night was a combination of Bebe cool, Camaleón and Vampino, who randomly came on stage as a way to show love and support to the hosts of the night: Muchachos, who run Tequilla Tuesdays and many other theme nights in different places. .

With Don Julio flowing freely and the festivities continuing into the early hours of Wednesday, it was the perfect prelude to a festive day.
