Ruto Cabinet warns of Cyclone Hidaya that could affect coastal region

“The Council of Ministers has been informed of the weather forecasts for the next three months, which show that average to above-average rainfall will continue throughout the country. To help nearly 200,000 households affected by the floods, the cabinet said the government will continue to distribute food and non-food items.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu was thanked for postponing school opening dates to May 6.
